Discover the heart and heritage of Carolina horse park
Founded in 1998 by a group of equestrian enthusiasts who shared a passion for horses, open space, and community, Carolina Horse Park has grown into a vibrant equestrian venue and gathering place in the Sandhills of North Carolina.
As a 501(c)(3) charitable Nonprofit Corporation, Carolina Horse Park operates with purpose and responsibility. Every competition, educational program, and community event supports our commitment to excellence in sport, stewardship of the land, and meaningful engagement with the people we serve.
Deliver an exceptional experience for equestrian sport, creating a sustainable legacy for horses, our community, and the land.
A World-Class destination that celebrates horses, sport, community engagement, and land conservation.
The Park hosts nationally recognized horse trials, schooling shows, clinics, and special events that draw riders and spectators from across the country. At the same time, we open our gates to the broader community through educational workshops, youth programming, volunteer opportunities, and non-equestrian events that invite everyone to experience the beauty of the property.
Land stewardship is central to our identity. Through thoughtful management and sustainable practices, we care for hundreds of acres of rolling terrain, ensuring it remains a thriving space for horses, wildlife, and future generations.
What began as a shared dream among friends has become a destination where world-class competition and Southern hospitality meet — a place where horses inspire connection, sport builds character, and community grows stronger together.
Carolina Horse Park stands today as both a vibrant equestrian destination and a lasting investment in the land and people it serves.
As a 501(c)(3) charitable Nonprofit Corporation, the Carolina Horse Park is committed to transparency and accountability. In accordance with IRS regulations, our most recent tax filings (Form 990) are available to the public.
