Learn about the importance of open spaces in maintaining wildlife populations in our area - includes hike, snake identification (Becky Skiba, of the NC Wildlife Commission, will bring snakes in enclosed terrariams) and some bird watching;.

In case of rain, hike will be cancelled. Gathering at the Baker Pavillion.

This program is free to the public and all ages are welcome! Donations appreciated though!

Participants are eligible for 2 hours of Criteria II credit towards the NC OEE Environmental Education Certification.
