Join the Carolina Horse Park for an educational webinar series focusing on three key areas of sport horse health and performance. This FREE webinar series will provide an opportunity to exercise our minds and learn how to treat, prevent and/or manage many of these common conditions and set our horses up for success in events to come! Topics will include equine gastric ulcer syndrome, equine asthma and joint disease. Fun prizes will be given out during each webinar, including a drawing for a FREE entry fee plus stabling at War Horse Event Series. Webinar Speaker: Dr. Trent Bliss (@Boehringer Ingelheim)

Trent Bliss, DVM, serves as an Equine Professional Services Veterinarian with Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health. After attending Oklahoma State University for his undergraduate degree, he then obtained his DVM from the Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After an internship at Idaho Equine Hospital, he then worked in private practice in northern Texas for one year before completing a Large Animal Surgical Residency at Texas A&M University. Dr. Bliss then joined his home practice, Interstate Equine in Goldsby, Oklahoma in 2011. He worked there until joining Boehringer Ingelheim as a professional services veterinarian in January 2020. Trent is the proud father of Ryan, Hesston and Britt. Given the opportunity, you’ll find Trent watching his kids’ extracurricular activities or at his family’s ranch in Lookout, OK, helping with the cattle operation, farming, hunting and soaking up the fresh air and starry skies.
